CSI: 3 Dimensions of Murder

CSI: 3 Dimensions of Murder was the third game in the CSI Las Vegas series.  It is the first game in the series developed by Telltale Games, who had taken over development duties for the series from 369 Interactive.  It was published by Ubisoft for Windows on March 15, 2006.

CSI: 3 Dimensions of Murder was Telltale's first game that was distributed traditionally through a publisher to stores. The CSI games remain the only Telltale games that were released through a traditional developer/publisher arrangement. Unlike Telltale's other CSI games, CSI: 3 Dimensions of Murder remains a boxed-only product and is not available on other download services such as Steam or GameFly.

Ubisoft developed a port of the game for the PlayStation 2, which was released on September 25, 2007. Unlike the PC version, this version gave the player free movement and control of the view due to requirements set at the time by Sony of America.

Even though this game was sold as a single product in stores, it still retains the episodic nature of most of Telltale's other games. As a rookie crime scene investigator at the Las Vegas crime lab, there are five cases to solve by collecting evidence, talking to suspects, questioning other CSI members, and using all of the equipment available in the lab.

CSI: 3 Dimensions of Murder never received a digital release.  The PlayStation 2 version is now out of print, but the PC version can still be purchased from Amazon.

Cases (the PlayStation 2 version also contains a bonus sixth case titled here as "Rich Mom, Poor Mom". It is, in fact, just the 2nd case in Hard Evidence with a retitled name.)
A woman who commissioned a portrait and sculpture of herself for her wedding is found dead in the art studio.
The CEO of a video game company about to release a sequel to a popular shooting game is murdered at a trade show.
All the evidence in the apartment of a casino heiress points toward murder, except there is no body at the scene.
The body of the son of a prominent real estate developer is found in a remote part of the Nevada desert.
Las Vegas CSI's own Doc Robbins finds the body of a sleazy private investigator who'd been shot to death in an alley.
